Terms & Conditions

  1. The promoter is Mission Direct – charity number 1107824 whose registered office is at 27 Bury Mead Road, Hitchin, Herts, SG5 1RT.
  2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom of any age except employees of Mission Direct and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition. Although groups can participate, there is only one prize available.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  5. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter can be found at Mission Direct’s seminar at Spring Harvest week 1 at Minehead or on Mission Direct’s Facebook page.
  6. Only one entry will be accepted per person or group. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
  7. Entries must be submitted during Mission Direct’s workshop at Minehead 1, Café/Stage area Wednesday 10th April, 4:30pm-5:15pm and will be showcased at the Mission Direct exhibition stand for visitors to vote for the winning entry.
  8. You will need to leave your contact details with the Mission Direct stand representatives for them to be able to contact you if you are the winner.
  9. The winner will be announced on the exhibition stand and across Mission Direct’s social media channels on Friday 12th April at 4pm.
  10. Winners will need to revisit the stand to choose and collect their hoodie or zoodie. Winners are able to choose the colour, size and type (hoodie or zip-through ‘zoodie’). If we don’t have your choice available, we will post it to you the following week.
  11. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  12. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
  • All designs must be deemed appropriate by Mission Direct and must not discriminate or offend any individual or group.
  • All designs must be started and finished during the Mission Direct workshop at Spring Harvest Minehead week 1 in the café/stage area between 4:30pm-5pm.
  • Individuals or groups may only use one packet of lollypop sticks and sticky tape to construct their shack as directed by Mission Direct staff. Any using more than this, or other materials, will be disqualified from entry.
  • All entries will be on show at the Mission Direct exhibition stand following the workshop for visitors to vote for the winner.
  • The shack with the most votes will be the winner. If two or more shack share the same number of winning votes, Mission Direct stand reps will choose the winning entry.
  • Mission Direct reserves the right to use the winning design across all channels and all platforms how we see fit.
  • The winning design will become the property of Mission Direct and may not be used for any other purpose outside of the organisation.
  1. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  2. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  3. The prize is as follows: One Mission Direct hoodie or zoodie (zip-through hoozie) in either purple, blue or grey in the chosen size.

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

  1. Winners will be chosen by visitors to the Mission Direct exhibition stand. All visitors will only be allowed one vote. Shacks will receive votes on a tally basis.
  2. The winner will be notified by a phone call/text message and/or DM on Twitter/Facebook and/or letter on Friday 12th April at 4pm. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 1 day, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  3. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be redeemed. If we are unable to present the prize for any reason, it will be posted to the winner within 14 days of the competition closing.
  4. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  5. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].
  6. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  8. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  9. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Mission Direct and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at https://www.missiondirect.org/privacy-policy/
  10. Mission Direct shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
  11. Mission Direct also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
