For over 21 years, Mission Direct has been working alongside communities in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean – sending volunteers, building schools, supporting orphanages and clinics, and walking with people as they shape their own futures.
The impact has been extraordinary. More than 600 teams of volunteers have travelled overseas. Over 6,200 people in total have given their time, their skills and their energy alongside community-led projects in countries including Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malawi, Cambodia and the Dominican Republic. Together, they have helped build 55 schools. And more than 305,000 children have directly benefitted from that work.
None of it has been funded by government. Mission Direct receives no statutory funding – not a penny. Every project we support, every volunteer we send, every partnership we sustain, is made possible entirely by people who care enough to give. People like you.
