Mission Direct’s inaugural Mission Maker Month has not only raised more than £30,000 in just 30 days, it has also captured the attention of media across the UK.

Our month-long campaign encouraged supporters to raise funds in all manners of creative ways, from sponsored walks and cake sales to community events and sporting challenges.

Mission Direct Chief Executive Wil Horwood said the campaign demonstrated the power of people coming together with a shared purpose.

“Mission Maker Month has shown what’s possible when a community comes together. Every fundraiser was different, but every one of them mattered. It’s easy to think one small act won’t make a difference, but this campaign has proved the opposite. Hundreds of small acts of generosity have combined to create opportunities that will change lives for years to come.”

We want to thank every supporter, volunteer, fundraiser, church and partner who took part in Mission Maker Month. Whether you organised an event, made a donation, shared the campaign online or prayed for its success, you helped make this first Mission Maker Month a tremendous success.

The fantastic media coverage has helped share the impact of the campaign even further, raising awareness of Mission Direct’s work and inspiring more people to become part of the mission in the months ahead.
